Approach

At Bang*; our product design process is our USP,we follow a 3 pronged approach of Inform, Ideate and Implement. Each of these stages lends itself to a holistic product strategy and design.

Inform – We undertake a “Contextual” study of the user, dig in deep into his life to understand how he works, how he plays and how he interacts to the different stimuli provided by the products and services in his surrounding. We couple the findings from this kind of Primary research with fact finding through secondary sources to get an understanding of the user, the market and create a holistic picture for our product to nest in.

Ideate- We focus our conceptualizing efforts on the three main areas to invent new possibilities and achieve breakthroughs in
1. Experience (seeing the bigger picture),
2. Product, and
3. Application
Visualized ideas are discussed with clients and shared with end users/ consumers as physical/ interaction mock-ups.

Implement- We believe in getting to a prototype for a full function design/ product/ interaction lab quickly. Fail Early. Prototype many times. Manage risks. Identify manufacturing partners and refine the design till it is ready for production. In this stage we look to prepare specific deliverables such as prototyping, manufacturing, inspection (and assembly) documentation.
