Digital Photo Frame

As more and more sophisticated devices came with increasing storage capacities, it begins to feel like we are stuffing images into shoe boxes, because photos and media are usually stored on the device and not seen or heard again. Digital Photo Frames enable users to move their photos out of storage and into their everyday lives.  At its price point, a digital photo frame makes for a compelling gift. Nothing is as personal and valuable as a picture or a loved one's video.

The iPod had emerged as a major force in media storage and consumption (but not sharing). Unfortunately the smaller devices do not make for great experience to view our favourite memories. Our PhotoFrame was to complement the iPod and other memory storage,  with a strong design and great viewing experience, retaining some of the superior interactivity in the new generation iPods.

The design is effortlessly stylish while remaining perfectly functional in the same breath. The Jet High Gloss black fascia and the illuminated capsule, create a classic, yet high technology combination. A simple chamfered rear houses the music player and a stand enabling the photo frame to sit comfortably in landscape or portrait positions. The final touch is a set of back lit touch sensitive controls on the front on the frame, with a slider interface for scrolling through albums. A light guide illuminates the border of the touch slider zone. A door protects the iPod inside.
